This was the first year for this contest.   The public turn out is pretty low here, but it's a team favorite because it's a great venue and a well run event.   Still a middle of the pack finish trying yet another set of recipes.  The brisket did a little better, but not much change for everything else.  This is one of the few contests in 2009 that didn't feature a lot of rain.

We ended up using a U-Haul truck to get to this event after our RV had some brake issues on the way.  The RV sat for a while before we bought it, so the first year we had it we had the most problems.   Over time, it became more reliable as we used it more.
