This was our second trip to Sayville on Long Island, and the last time the "battle" would be held at that location.   It had some things in common with the prior year:  rain, high winds, floods, and power outages.    Ann and Paul sat this event out, so Chris and Joan cooked alone.  We stuck with the same recipe set for the third time in a row

Picking something and sticking with it continued to pay off with 2 top ten category finishes, and our first top ten finish in a larger contest.   Our previous top ten finish was in 2008 in a contest with only 15 teams, but this time we were 6th of 45.  This was a substantial achievement for us, and a measure of redemption after Westport.
